Project SEAPonyCon returns for 2018 in an exciting new form factor - a party by the sea! While this is a scaled-down instalment of the convention as we continue to recover from our previous event, we promise it will be a weekend
of fun for everypony.
Priced at just 20SGD per person for a two-day ticket, Fiesta SEAPonyCon is affordable and easy to get to. Singapore's Labrador Nature Reserve is in Southwest Singapore and is accessible by railway
and is a relaxing spot away from the hustle of the cityscape.
Project SEAPonyCon began it's journey in 2012 with an idea to put together resources and make an effort to hold a pony convention for greater Southeast Asia. It took five years before enough reaching consensus and gathering sufficient
resources that led to the first iteration of the convention in Bangkok, Thailand.
Due to some oversight in the planning of the 2017 convention, we were left with a large deficit. However, in the spirit of community we
bring you Fiesta SEAPonyCon - an iteration of the regional convention without all the bells and whistles of a full blown event. Think of it as a meetup or a party. It's a great excuse to come and hang out with friends!
Fiesta SEAPonyCon is an event powered by the community. We want you to feel welcome and at home when you're in Singapore. Our community is welcoming and willing to help! Join our Discord server to get to meet new friends and talk about
almost anything under the sun.
We also encourage you to mingle and engage with room and transport sharing discussions to help make it possible for each other to attend and be a part of Fiesta SEAPonyCon. Remember, a burden
shared is a burden halved!
Just like our 2017 convention, Fiesta SEAPonyCon has its own theme song too! Check out "Ombak Singapura!" written and recorded by Project SEAPonyCon chief Daniel "St. Pinkie" Anthony with some help from our friends at Crystal Empire
Records.
To our knowledge, "Ombak Singapura!" is the first MLP:FiM-inspired song written in both English and Bahasa Malaysia - a language understood by three nations in the Southeast Asian region.
